Wang Jingming, the vice-president of RDA Microelectronics, is responsible for R&D of mobile phone baseband wireless communication and ultra-low power consumption IOT (Internet of Things) products and applications such as smart phones, functional phones, WiFi, blue tooth and GPS.

Since becoming vice-president of RDA, Wang, together with his team, determined product positioning and development orientation, recruited technicians at a top world-level, built new R&D bases and systems, and made important achievements in terms of low-cost mobile phones, digital TV and power amplifiers.

He is also the chief principal of two National Science and Technology Projects - large scale integrated circuit manufacturing equipment and packaged technology and the first generation broadband based wireless mobile communication network - in 2015 Wang graduated from Tsinghua University’s Department of Electronic Engineering in 1997 with a bachelor's degree, and received a master's degree in 1999 from the same university. In March 2005, he graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles with a doctoral degree.

Wang worked as engineer for power line communication system research at Marvell Semiconductor Inc. until July 2007, and then as the chief engineer at Augusta Technologies USA Inc. until Feb 2009, engaging in the R&D of chip products for smart phones and digital TV. From 2009 to 2014, he returned to Marvell Semiconductor Inc. as technical director.
