A 1996 graduate of Tsinghua University, senior engineer Xi Zhuanghua now serves as the general manager and chief technical director of the Big Data Engineering Center of Internet of Things Application Industry Group of Tsinghua Tongfang Co Ltd.

He participates in the design, construction and implementation of large-scale administrative and corporate information systems, having innovative ideas for the application of top-level design methods, metadata technologies and various data analyzing technologies in the planning and construction of information systems and new generation data centers. He also demonstrates an efficiency in the planning, and construction of metadata-based data resource systems. His team has received a dozen software copyrights.

Xi was the chief designer on a project that won the first prize of the ninth outstanding statistical science research achievements award of Beijing and the second prize of the ninth national outstanding statistical science research achievements award.
