Hu Shaoxue

Hu Shaoxue, a professor and the chief architect of the Architectural Design and Research Institute at Tsinghua University, is also the director of the Architectural Society of China and a member of the China Registered Architects Administration Committee.

Hu was elected as China Engineering Design Master in 2000 and won the ARCASIA Honorary Award in 2003 and the Architectural Design Award from the World Association of Chinese Architects in 2005.

Hu has been involved in the design work of many projects, including China's National Center for Performing Arts, the Tsinghua University Design Center Building, the Tsinghua University Economics and Management School Building, and the Wugang Museum. Hu has published 40 academic papers in high-level, national journals and a book entitled Architectural Design and Presentation
