Located in the Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Tsinghua Science Park was set up under a cooperation framework between Tsinghua University, the Jiangxi provincial government and the Nanchang municipal government.

The park takes up about 330,000 square meters with a planned floorage of 270,000 sq m, and is home to more than 70 enterprises. It houses the Tsinghua Science Park (Jiangxi) Innovation Service Center and the Jiangxi Provincial E-commerce Engineering Technology Research Center, and been awarded the honorary title of “Incubation Base for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” and included in Nanchang's first group of “Service Outsourcing Demonstration Parks”. In 2014, the park was approved as a state-level incubator for sci-tech firms by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
