TIPark is located in the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Qingdao, covering 1,500 mu (100.5 hectares) with a floorage of 1.7 million square meters.

It is home to incubation and service centers for companies, as well as corporate headquarters. As an early tenant in the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, it has spared no efforts building itself into an ecological scientific and technological town and a demonstration area for scientific and technological service.

The park aims to facilitate Qingdao's economic growth and development of sci-tech industries.

Now it's focusing on the development of marine biomedicine, which is one of the key industries in the national development zone.
