TusCity (Fuzhou) was set up by Tsinghua University, the provincial government of Fujian and Fuzhou municipal government. It is located in the core of the Haixi Hi-tech Industrial Park in Fuzhou, covering an area of about 153.3 hectares. It has a planned floorage of 2.7 million square meters.

The park serves as a center of technological innovation, commercialization of scientific achievements, financial services, and startup investment, and aims to become a multi-functional integrated sci-tech park for people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
