Hebei Museum is located at the central area of the provincial capital, Shijiazhuang. The new museum sits to the south of the old one from which a glass corridor connects the two parts.

In accordance with the idea “respect the relic buildings, continue the cultural tradition”, the project creatively presents a lofty glass structure between the museum’s old and new parts, and forms an axis linking the old museum, resting hall to the new museum. The new and old parts, as a whole, have played and will continue to play an active cultural role in the city’s life.
