Zhao Xiaobo
Zhao Xiaobo, a professor-level senior engineer with EMBA degree from Tsinghua University. Zhao joined Tsinghua Tongfang Co Ltd in 1993 and is currently the general-manager of Tongfang's Digital City Group and executive president of Tongfang Technovator International Limited.
He together with his team has finished thousands of landmark projects in the fields of intelligent city and urban energy conservation, represented by projects such as the Great Hall of the People, Beijing Hotel and the subway of Teheran, Iran.
Zhao is a pioneer in overseas assets merger and acquisition. Under his leadership, the intelligent building business of Tsinghua Tongfang's Digital City Group ranked the top one for projects quantity and the first place of top 10 brands in its industry for eight successive years. He played an important role in pushing Technovator International listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Tongfang Technovator International then became a domestic leading supplier of urban integrated energy conservation services. He also led the acquisition of Distech Controls in Canada and founded Techcon, a building control brand.
Zhao is the deputy head of China Construction Industry Association's Intelligent Building Branch, and the winner of various honors, such as the construction low-carbon technology innovation award issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology. He contributes a lot to the urban energy conservation innovation and the sustainable development.
