In 2007, RDA launched China's first FM radio chip featuring CMOS technology and low power consumption. It filled domestic gaps in relevant development of integration, power consumption and cost efficiency. The chip is widely used in mobile telephones, MP3/MP4 media players, PDA, independent FM radios and other various portable devices with radio functions. Its superb performance has led to more than 500 million pieces being sold.
