Dong Jun, senior engineer, is the chairman of THTI Holdings Co Ltd, a council member of Tsinghua Alumni Association, founder of the Study Fund of Tsinghua University, honorary chairman of Tianjin Alumni Association of Tsinghua University, standing vice-president of Shanxi branch of Alumni Association of Tsinghua University, a member of the standing committee of Taiyuan Municipal People's Congress. 

Graduated from the Department of Mechanics of Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree. He started his career in Shanxi Machinery Import and Export Corporation in July 1989, and started to self-employ in 2001 in fields such as international trade, equipment manufacturing, mining and real estate.

He has earned the honors such as a science and technology model of Shanxi province and the May 1 Labor Medal of Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province.
