UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation

The Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) Project in Fuzhou, Fujian province, received the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation on Jan 25. The project was developed by Tsinghua Holdings Heritage Conservation Institute and the Heritage Research Center of Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning & Design Institute (THUPDI), subsidiaries of Tsinghua Holdings Habitat Development Group.

2016 Green Good Design awards

On May 9, Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning and Design Institute won two 2016 Green Good Design awards - one of the most highly respected international design honors in the world -for the "Overall Planning of Xishan Scenic Spot" in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Huludao-Xingcheng Wood Trestle Design in Liaoning province. It is the sixth time the institute has obtained the award.

Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning and Design Institute won two 2016 Green Good Design awards on May 9.

Top Cloud Connect Award

The H3C, an affiliate of Tsinghua Unigroup, obtained the Top Cloud Connect Award: 2015-2016 Top Brand from China and the 2015-2016 Best Global Cloud Practice Award at the Cloud Connect China ceremony held on Sept 21. This is the third consecutive time H3C has received the awards.

The H3C obtained the Top Cloud Connect Award: 2015-2016 Top Brand from China and the 2015-2016 Best Global Cloud Practice Award. 

Chindia Award

Spreadtrum Communications, affiliated to Tsinghua Unigroup, won the “Chindia Award”on Nov 11 at the 5th China-India Forum. The forum awards outstanding firms and institutions that make significant contributions to stimulating investment and other forms of cooperation between China and India.

Entrepreneurship Project Award

Nuctech, a security and inspection solution and service supplier, received the Gold Prize of Entrepreneurship Project Award at the 9th International Exhibition of Inventions in Kunshan city, on Nov 17. The award is in recognition of the "CT Inspection System and Inspection Method", "Millimeter Wave Human-Body Security Inspection System" and the Raman Detector.

Nuctech received the Gold Prize of Entrepreneurship Project Award at the 9th International Exhibition of Inventions in Kunshan city.

(BALI) National Landscape Awards

Three landscape design projects, including Ecological Progress Innovation Park in Gui’an New Area, Guizhou province, received the 2016 International Award at the British Association of Landscape Industries BALI National Landscape Awards in London, UK on Dec 2. This was the sixth consecutive year the Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning and Design Institute, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Habitat Development Group, has won this prestigious landscape design award.

Three landscape design projects received the British Association of Landscape Industries National Landscape Awards in London, UK, for the sixth time.

National Science and Technology Awards

2015 National Awards for Technology Invention

Shenzhen State Microelectronics Co., Ltd. won second prize at the 2015 National Awards for Technology Invention on Jan 8, 2016, for the joint project "High Energy Efficiency Dynamic Reconfigurable Computing and System Chips Key Technologies".

China's Top Science and Technology Progress Award

Spreadtrum, a leading fabless semiconductor company, won China's Top Science and Technology Progress Award for the project "Key Technologies and Applications for Fourth Generation Mobile Communication System (TD-LTE)" on Jan 9, 2017. It is a joint project between China Mobile Group, China Academy of Telecommunication Research, MIIT and the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology.

Spreadtrum won China's Top Science and Technology Progress Award for the project, "Key Technologies and Applications for Fourth Generation Mobile Communication Systems (TD-LTE)".
