Tsinghua Holdings and UK’s Pitch@Palace seek deeper cooperation

Opening ceremony for Pitch@Palace China Club
The Pitch@Palace China program will get up-and-running in 2017, a unique initiative in which China and the UK are combining their resources, platforms, opportunities, mentors and funding to provide world-class support for promising start-ups.
Pitch@Palace is a world-famous start-up competition established by Prince Andrew, Duke of York, in which talented entrepreneurs get to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors at St James’ Palace in London.
Now, the Pitch@Palace China Club has been set up to help Chinese talent enter Pitch@Palace’s global contest. Pitch@Palace China Club will be holding a series of events and contests across China this year. The winning entrepreneurs will get a chance to go to London and take part in Pitch@Palace’s main competition.
Staffs of Pitch@Palace visit Tsinghua Holdings on Jan 19.
Tang Yaqi, secretary general of the Pitch@Palace China Club, paid a visit to Tsinghua Holdings on Jan 19 to discussa full cooperation plan for this year’s events. Tang was received by Pang Yaning, director of innovation and incubation center of Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd.
Tsinghua Holdings has been closely involved with the Pitch@Palace China Club since it was set up in 2016. Tsinghua Holdings Chairman Xu Jinghong was one of its founding members, and the medical company HISKY incubated by Tsinghua Holdings participated in the final of Pitch@Palace with the help of the China Club.
