Tsinghua Technology & Innovation Holdings Co Ltd (THTI), an affiliate of Tsinghua Holdings, jointly announced a global call for entrepreneurial projects with China Unicom and Telefónica Open Future at 4YFN, a business startup platform at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 1.
Aiming to nurture promising startups in fields such as IoT, big data, cyber security, smart devices and artificial intelligence, the global program will evaluate and select projects to join accelerators in target countries where they can learn local culture, business models, financing and marketing, as well as tap into foreign markets with innovative resources from THTI, China Unicom and Telefónica.
Cheng Fang, president of THTI, and Ana Segurado, general manager of Telefónica Open Future, were in attendance at the announcement ceremony.
