Tus-Holdings to build BUE science park

Tsinghua Holdings' subsidiary Tus-Holdings and the British University in Egypt signed the second-phase cooperation agreements for building the TUS-BUE Science and Innovation Park in early 2016. The park will be the first university-based science park in Egypt.

The deal was achieved during Tus-Holdings Chairman Wang Jiwu's visit to Egypt under the invitation of the country's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

Creating science parks will help Egypt bridge the gap between its universities and businesses and promote the bringing-to-market of its universities' research achievements. The science parks will also promote exchanges between Chinese and Egyptian enterprises and attract more Chinese companies to develop in Egypt.
