Tsinghua Holdings up 30 spots on China's Top 500 list

Tsinghua Holdings ranks 163th on the 2017 China Top 500 Enterprise list, netting revenues of more than 95.6 billion yuan ($14.81 billion) and ranking 30 spots higher on the list this year.
The company also placed seventh among the Top 100 enterprises whose proportion of R&D costs to revenue is relatively larger. The company's investment in R&D ranks 25th among the top 500 enterprises on the list.
The statistics were released in the 2017 China Top 500 Enterprises Development Report at the 2017 China Top 500 Enterprises Summit held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, from Sept 9 to 10.
An annual meeting reflecting China's economic development, the summit has been held for 16 years since 2002. This year's summit was organized by the China Enterprise Confederation and People's Government of Jiangxi Province.
More than 1,000 visitors attended the summit, including scholars, media outlets and leaders from national ministry-level departments and global organizations, China's top 500 enterprises and Chinese branches of the Fortune Global 500.
The summit released lists of the 2017 China Top 500 Enterprises, 2017 China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises and 2017 China Top 500 Service Enterprises.
