Nuctech Warsaw to build a new workshop

Nuctech Warsaw, a subsidiary of Nuctech, an industry-leading security inspection product manufacturer and security solutions supplier headquartered in Beijing, China, will build a new workshop in Kobylka, Poland, a transportation hub between Asia and Europe.
The workshop's foundation laying ceremony was held on Sept 25, and it is expected to make Nuctech Warsaw the biggest container/automobile goods security inspection equipment manufacturing base in Europe upon completion.

Covering an area of nearly 6,000 square meters, the workshop is the first green field investment project from a Chinese hi-tech enterprise and the construction will be finished by the second half of next year.
Nuctech started its manufacturing business in Poland years ago and now its 11 sets of large-scale container/automobile security inspection products and nine sets of small-scale X-ray security inspection products are in service in Poland.
Statistics show that since 2014, more than 80 percent of security inspection equipment purchased by Poland's customs office were produced by Nuctech. From 2006 to 2016, Poland Customs have inspected 680,000 trucks with the help of China's security inspection equipment, and in 2016 alone, as many as 81,000 trucks were scanned.

Established in 2005, Nuctech Warsaw is the first overseas production base with 90 percent Polish employees.
To date, Nuctech's Polish-made security inspection equipment has been sold to more than 30 countries in Europe, including the UK, Germany and Sweden. By the end of last year, Nuctech had delivered over 120 sets of large-scale container scanning products in Europe.
In addition, Nuctech's more than 2,000 products are being used in nearly 60 countries and regions around globe.
Nuctech has all core technologies of radiation imaging equipment, which ensures its products to enter the European high-end market thanks to advanced technology, reliable quality, and excellent services.
"Bringing Tsinghua University's advanced technology into market, we are able to meet varied demands of our clients in a relatively short period of time in research and development. It helps us grasp opportunities in the market. Now, our market share in Europe has reached beyond 90 percent," said Bian Xiaohao, who is in charge of Nuctech Warsaw.

Currently, Nuctech is cooperating with more than 200 European suppliers and has stationed most of its manufacturing processes in Europe. "Designed in China and made in Europe" makes Nuctech's products gain a foothold in European market.
Nuctech Warsaw was named the most dynamic and innovative small- and medium-sized enterprise in Poland by Rzeczpospolita and Parkiet, the two leading Polish newspapers.
Nuctech Warsaw is named among the top ten most dynamic and innovative small- and medium-sized enterprises in Poland in May.
Nuctech sets a good example of cooperation between China and Poland under China's Belt and Road Initiative, which promotes the economic development in both countries, said the head of the Polish investment and trade authority.
