New H3C Group, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup that is affiliated to Tsinghua Holdings, provided fast and safe WiFi services for the 4th World Internet Conference (WIC) which was held in the East China town of Wuzhen from Dec 3 to 5.

The company, a world leading provider of new IT solutions, built a high-quality wireless network system using over 4,100 wireless APs, 350 access switches, the H3C WX6100E series access controller, the vBRAS virtual broadband remote access server and a M9000 series' high-end firewall.

A maximum of 6,895 user wireless terminals get accessed at the same time with a peak network rate of 1,950 Mbps thanks to New H3C's network system.

New H3C Group provides fast and safe WiFi services for the 4th World Internet Conference held in the East China town of Wuzhen from Dec 3 to 5. 

The system covered a wide range of locations, from the WIC's main venue of the Wuzhen International Internet Exhibition and Convention Center to the Dockside Boutique Hotel and Waterside Resort, as well as the main scenic spots including the West Gate Scenic Area, East Gate Scenic Area and Wu Village.

In order to secure the wireless network at the WIC, New H3C had a guarantee group of nine teams specializing in project management, product and software research and development as well as more than 50 technical experts to work in Wuzhen this October.

An artificial network that simulates the real wireless network of the WIC was also built at New H3C's Hangzhou-based laboratory to ensure rapid verification and elimination of any problems or emergencies.

In addition, dozens of New H3C staff members experienced in network security stayed at the conference site from Nov 28 to Dec 5 to provide technology solutions for key conferences.
