Tsinghua University Press wins China's top press award
Tsinghua University Press, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings, and its publications recently won the China Press Government Award, China's top press award organized by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
Tsinghua University Press won the award under the Advanced Publishing House category. Its published book The History of Chinese Buddhist Architecture and the journal Tsinghua Science and Technology, an English version of the original Chinese, won the nomination prize under book and journal categories, respectively.
The China Press Government Award is presented to outstanding domestic publications, publishing houses, and individuals every three years.

The History of Chinese Buddhist Architecture is focused on Chinese ancient Buddhist architecture and its historical development.
Started in 1996, Tsinghua Science and Technology is run by Tsinghua University and published by Tsinghua University Press. The journal aims at presenting the up-to-date scientific achievements with high creativity and great significance in computer and electronic engineering. It was indexed by Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-E) with impact factor at 1.250.
