The Greenland Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Xiongan New Area was open on March 25 thanks to partnership between Greenland Group and IEStreet VC, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Technology & Innovation Holdings Co Ltd (THTI Holdings), which is affiliated to Tsinghua Holdings. 

The first innovation and entrepreneurship project in Xiongan, the center covers an area of 15,000 square meters and will endeavor to stimulate the development of various sectors in the new area, including artificial intelligence, electronics technology, new energy and bio-pharmaceuticals. 

By bringing resources, industries, and talented people together, it will provide financial aid, policy consultation, and project incubation services for innovative start-ups settled in the center. 

Eleven companies have signed up with the center, focusing on developing artificial intelligence, internet security, virtual reality, new retailing, and online education.

Xiongan New Area was established in April 2017 and has positioned itself as a new innovation-driven development engine for the nation. It is of national significance as the layout of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is optimized. 

THTI Holdings is an outstanding innovation service company which has formed an innovation and entrepreneurship ecological system across the country. It currently possesses 15 national innovation service platforms.

It is the designer and operator of the Zhongguancun Inno Way, and has also established the first Chinese version of WeWork, the first overseas entity incubator - TI Park located in Silicon Valley, and an Internet Plus industrial promotion platform. 

The Greenland Group partners with IEStreet VC, a subsidiary of THTI Holdings, to establish the first innovation center in Xiongan New Area that opens on March 25.
