Representatives from the Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning and Design Institute (THUPDI) at the Awards Gala of the 2018 IFLA World Congress in Singapore on July 18

Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning & Design Institute (THUPDI), a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Human Settlement Construction Group, won seven awards of different categories of International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) AAPME Awards 2018, at the 55th IFLA World Congress held in Singapore on July 18.

The  IFLA Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East (AAPME) Awards 2018 credited landscape projects that contribute the most to a charming, livable and sustainable human settlement environment.

In the category of flood and water management, Tsinghua Tongheng's Landscape Planning and Design for Mu Xi Riverscape received the Outstanding Award, and the Landscape Design of the Gui'an Ecological Innovation Park won the Award of Excellence.

The Landscape Design of Baotou Olympic Park took the Award of Excellence in the category of social and community health.

Four projects also won the honorable mention awards in the category of analysis and master planning, and they were the Landscape Conceptual Planning of the 2021 Yangzhou International Horticultural Exposition, the Pilot Area of Hainan International Tourism Island Conceptual Comprehensive Planning, the Dolon-nor Green Space Landscape Planning, and the Ecological Landscape Concept Planning of the Qinghai Haidong Huangshui River Basin.
