Unigroup, XuetangX show advanced technology at World Internet Conference

China's leading chipmaker, Tsinghua Unigroup, and MOOC platform XuetangX, both under Tsinghua Holdings, showcased their latest technologies and products at the 5th World Internet, which kicked off in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, on Nov 7.

Tsinghua Unigroup presented its 3D NAND flash memory chips, Xtacking™ storage architecture, fingerprint U-disks, mobile chip platform Spreadtrum SC9863 and other highly-integrated digital solutions based on cloud services, drawing a constant flow of visitors.

From chip manufacturer to cloud service provider, the company is  boasting its industrial chain with chip products for various use.

XuetangX, China's leading massive open online course (MOOC) platform, is showcasing its smart education solution that connects users, data and scenarios in the online and offline classrooms.

The solution includes Rain Classroom, an app for smart classroom teaching and learning developed by Tsinghua University, and XuetangX, and Xuetang Cloud, another XuetangX product which is able to work perfectly with Rain Classroom and store teaching materials that help teachers design targeted education modes.

By the end of October 2018, the Rain Classroom app had over 5.8 million active users, covering students and teachers from 640,000 high school and university classes.

Established in 2013, XuetangX has become a useful tool for people of all ages to keep up with the latest trends and advances with a minimal investment of time and money.

To date it has over 15 million registered users and some 1900 MOOC courses, many of which come from world-class institutes such the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.
