TusStar and UTokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd. sign a strategic cooperation agreement.

TusStar, one of China’s leading incubators under TusHoldings that is affiliated to Tsinghua Holdings, and UTokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd., a venture capital arm of The University of Tokyo, signed a strategic cooperation agreement and established an innovation center on Nov 30.

The new innovation center will serve as a bridge for TusHoldings and Utokyo IPC to increase collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship andhelp companies of both countries to explore markets in China and Japan.

The center will also work on creating desirable environment for entrepreneurship for youthand helping bring advanced technological achievements to the market.

Tsinghua University and the University of Tokyo have maintained close cooperation for years in education, scientificresearchand talent cultivation. They signed a strategic agreement in 2018to promote closer, and more innovative, sustainable cooperation relationship.

Chen Hongbo, executive vice-president of TusHoldings, Zhang Jinsheng, chairman of TusStar, and the president of University of Tokyo IPC attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the opening of the innovation center.
