Tsinghua University Press and ITU reach cooperation agreement

Li Yong, head of Tsinghua University Press, and the Secretary of the ITU sign an agreement on Jan 21 in Geneva.
As part of the cooperation agreement reached between Tsinghua University and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva on Jan 21, 2019, Tsinghua University Press and ITU signed a cooperation agreement to establish English technical journals.
This is the first time the press has launched an international journal with the United Nations agencies, which can improve the influence of Tsinghua University and its press in international organizations. The relevant staffs of Tsinghua University and Tsinghua University Press exchanged ideas with the director of ITU journals on how to prepare for the publications.
According to the agreement, the logos of Tsinghua University Press and ITU will be put on the cover of new journal, which is to be published soon.
Headquartered in Geneva, the ITU has 193 member states and more than 700 department members and associate members as well as academic members responsible for operation and decision-making in the global communication technology field.
