Saint Petersburg University 

XuetangX, affiliated to MOOC-CN Education, a member enterprise of Tsinghua Holdings, recently signed a cooperation agreement with Saint Petersburg University to obtain exclusive access to its online courses in China.

The first four courses including mathematical game theory, learning Russian letters, basic-level Russian (A1) and History of Russia will go online in XuetangX.

Saint Petersburg University is one of the oldest universities in Russia as well as world-renowned state-owned research university. It’s one of the two universities with independent autonomy in Russia and a major scientific and education center in that country. Vladimir Putin is an alumnus.

The history of the university is closely related to science, culture and society in Russia. To date the school has cultivated nine Nobel Prize winners, as well as artists and other outstanding people in cultural circles.

In addition to obtaining exclusive access to online courses of Saint Petersburg University, XuetangX has also introduced some online courses of other world leading universities and has set up partnership with platforms of MOOC-Education such as edX，FUN MOOC of France, K-MOOC of Korea and Miriadax of Latin America to promote knowledge sharing.
