A press conference on the top 100 software and information technology services in 2019 opens on June 28. 

A list of the top 100 software and information technology services in 2019 released on June 28 included Tsinghua Tongfang and H3C, member enterprises of Tsinghua Holdings.

The list was released at a press conference jointly held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Information Technology Industry Federation.

The selections were made according to enterprise declarations and the recommendations of various societies and governments, and approved after review by experts from the China Information Technology Industry Federation of the conditions of business enterprises in 2018.

The software revenue of the new top 100 enterprises totaled 1,237.4 billion yuan in 2018, higher than the average growth rate of the whole industry. Research and development investment totaled 254 billion yuan, a 27 percent year-on-year growth. Exports amounted to $31 billion, accounting for 56% of the country's total.

It means that the top 100 enterprises play an increasingly important role in leading economies of scale, research and development innovation, emerging fields and international patterns of business activity.
