The award ceremony of the 2019 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Awards (CMISTA) was held at the opening session of the 2019 Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society ‘s annual conference in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Nov 11.

5 member enterprises of Tsinghua Holdings were awarded:

·joint project by Tsinghua University, HWATSING and Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., Ltd. - special prize in technical invention, the only special prize in this category

·joint project by Tsinghua University and Tsinghua Tongfang Artificial Environment Co., Ltd. - first prize in scientific and technological progress

·CapitalBio Corporationinvolved project - second prize in technical invention

·UnisM&C) involved project - second prize in scientific and technological progress

CMISTA is a comprehensive national science and technology award for the mechanical industry, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations on National Science and Technology Awards and the Measures for the Administration of the Establishment of Science and Technology Awards by Social Forces. It was jointly established by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and is currently the only award for the machinery industry that is approved by the state in China.
