Two projects undertaken by subsidiaries of Tsinghua Holdings have won the top prize at a China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation awards ceremony. The ceremony, which celebrated the scientific and technological progress of 2019, was held on December 10 at the National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Science and Technology Innovation Conference in Beijing. 

The two prize winners were the "Development and Industrialization of Ultra-high Magnesium-Lithium Ratio Salt Lake Brine Adsorption-Membrane Separation Coupling Lithium Extraction Technology" project of Tus-Membrane Group, a subsidiary of Tus-Holdings, and the “Hydraulic Cycling Compound Reduction-Oxidation Remediation Technology, Equipment and Application for Organic Polluted Sites”, a project of Beijing Guohuan Tsinghua Environmental Engineering Design & Research Institute Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Human Settlement Construction Group.

Zhao Qing, vice-president of Tus-Holdings and chairman of Tus-Membrane Group (l), and He Yongping (r), assistant to the president of Qinghai Salt Lake Co. Ltd. and chairman of Lanke Lithium Co. Ltd., receive the first prize for scientific and technological progress for 2019, awarded by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
