According to industry insiders, there are large spaces in planes that need to be painted and it is difficult for workers to manually perform spraying tasks in an efficient and high-quality manner. In addition, conventional spraying robots cannot work in this complicated environment and meet relevant technical standards.

During Airshow China 2021, employees from Tsinghua Tongchuang talked to attendees about the technical strengths of their spraying robots in the completion of painting, the removal of previous paint, and polishing for various planes and spare parts.

Tsinghua Tongchuang has drawn inspiration from the progress made by Chen Ken, a professor at Tsinghua University, and his research team in the application of robotic technologies in aerospace intelligent manufacturing, come up with a number of self-designed spraying robots, intelligent products and systems, and eventually developed advanced robotic control systems as well as large model robots.

The latest spraying robots made by Tsinghua Tongchuang have fundamentally enhanced the technical standards and quality of painting for planes.

Meanwhile, Tsinghua Tongchuang also brought its high-tech products, which are related to the application of robotic technologies in the assembly of plane wings, landing gears and plane bodies, and vertical docking, to better deal with inaccuracy and insufficiency in the assembly of planes.

The company’s attendance at Airshow China 2021 and interaction with other attending enterprises have helped Tsinghua Tongchuang learn more about market demand and better position itself for future development.
